Blessing Series

This series is a reinterpretation of the blessing culture rooted in Chinese folk traditions. Motifs such as double fish, guardian beasts, and blessing trees are more than decorative symbols—they carry some of the most fundamental values and express sincere, enduring wishes.

In times of uncertainty, these forms serve as vessels for people’s hopes: for peace, abundance, and protection.

Through visual elements like symmetry, balance, and the use of five traditional colors, the works revisit these age-old wishes in a contemporary context. By translating them into the language of glass, the series seeks to respond to the persistent spiritual needs of everyday life and offer these familiar forms a renewed presence in the present.
